ALLIE SHAPIRO IS AN ACTOR AND THEATRE-MAKER BASED IN VANCOUVER, BC.
From manically scrubbing blood from her hands in a traditional production of Macbeth, to sharing dances and dolls with spectators in an immersive theatrical experience, to taking down the taxidermy (and the patriarchy) as a widow in the late 1700s, Allie is interested in the full spectrum of performance and creation through the mediums of film, theatre, writing, improvisation, movement work, voice over, archival work, and collage.
